The Associated General Contractors of America Political Action Committee, also known as the ԹϺ PAC, announced today that it has endorsed Katie Britt for the United States Senate. ԹϺ PAC officials said they are supporting the Britt campaign because of her commitment to the construction industry in Alabama as the CEO of the state’s business council.
“Katie Britt has a deep understanding of what it takes to encourage private sector success and appreciates how to get things done in Washington,” said Stephen E. In addition to endorsing Katie Britt, ԹϺ PAC is contributing the maximum amount of $10,000 to her campaign. ԹϺ PAC is also encouraging the association’s members in Alabama to help turn out the construction vote in support of her candidacy in the primary runoff election on June 21, 2022.
“Katie Britt is a hard-working, honest leader who represents the very best of Alabama,” said Alabama ԹϺ Chief Executive Officer Billy Norrell. “She has the perfect mix of private and public sector experience to proactively address the challenges facing our state’s construction employers and workers.”
